Our B.Tech program in Computer Science and Engineering (AI and ML) is designed to equip students with cutting-edge knowledge and skills in the dynamic field of artificial intelligence.

Welcome to the department of Computer Science and Engineering at Techno Engineering College Banipur.
Established in the year 2008 the department was introduced with an intake of 60students.
The department has well- structured curriculum and adequate laboratory resources.
Apart from these, students also utilize the various facilities of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering department.
With the support of proactive and competent academic staff the department has completed a glorious decade.
The placement scenario of the department is quite impressive.
The students are well placed in various national and multinational majors.
The Department of CSE has state of the art laboratory housing 1:1 computers with LAN and Internet facility where the students can practice programming skills, projects and some hardware practices.
Available Laboratories are :Programming Lab, Advanced Computing Lab, Computer Networking Lab, DBMS lab, Operating System lab, Microprocessor Lab, Digital Communication Lab, Circuit & Device Lab, Digital Electronics Lab.

In the year 2008 the Institute started the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department course for the benefits of students who are keen on knowing subjects from traditional to modern aspects of electronics.
The Department has been continuously striving for excellence in engineering education.
The Department has always been on a high growth path to keep pace with the ever increasing importance of the major disciplines of study and current technology trends.
The Department is well equipped with modern laboratory facilities and proper infrastructure.
The Department has major laboratories namely: Electronic Devices lab, Electromagnetic Wave lab, Digital System Design Lab, Analog electronic Circuit Lab, Analog Communication Lab, Digital Communication Lab, Microprocessor and Microcontroller Lab, Digital signal Processing Lab supported by MATLAB R2016a, Control System Lab supported by MATLAB R2016a and VLSI Lab supported by Xilinx 14.8.
Also we have separate Smart Class Room, tutorial Room, Research and Development wing and a Project Room.
The Department organises workshops throughout the year for the students and staff to become compatible for different accepts of engineering fields.
We systematized internship programmes with reputed organizations for the betterment of our students.
With Competent Staff and adequate equipments the Department can take-up research work on electronics, communication and allied fields.

Mechanical engineering is the only discipline that applies engineering physics, engineering mathematics, and materials science, principles to design, analyze, manufacture and maintain mechanical systems.
Moreover it is one of the oldest and broadest of the engineering disciplines.
The mechanical engineering field requires an understanding of core areas including Applied Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics, Thermal, Design and Electrical Machines and Production.
In addition to these core principles, mechanical engineers are facilitated with tools such as computer-aided design (CAD), computer-aided manufacturing (CAM), product life cycle management (PLM),finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) to design and analyze manufacturing plants, industrial equipment and machinery, heating and cooling systems, transport systems, aircraft, watercraft, robotics, medical devices, weapons, and others.
It is the branch of engineering that involves the design, production and operation of machinery.
Mechanical engineers are pursuing developments in some useful areas like composites, mechatronics, and nanotechnology.
It also overlaps with aerospace engineering, metallurgical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing engineering, chemical engineering, industrial engineering, and other engineering disciplines to a certain extent.
Mechanical engineers may also have additional avenues in the field of bio-medical engineering, specifically with bio-mechanics, transport phenomena, bio-mechatronics, bio-nanotechnology, and modeling of biological systems.
Areas of research for Mechanical engineers are Micro electro-mechanical systems (MEMS),Friction stir welding (FSW),Composites,Mechatronics, Nanotechnology,Finite element analysis,Biomechanics,Computational fluid dynamics,Acoustical engineering and so on.
We have the requisite number of experienced faculty members, supporting staff and State of Art laboratories not only as per the curriculum of MAKAUT & AICTE but number of machineries and equipments necessary to indulge in extensive project work.

Apart from that we also provide Industrial training, Industrial visit and special training on Auto-CAD (2D/3D), CATIA, Solid Works, CNC and preparation of GATE, Soft skill development for the students in commensurate with the market demand.

PSO1: Ability to Understand, analyse and test effects of force in mechanical systems, correlation between structure of materials and mechanical properties, understanding working principle of mechanical measuring instruments and ability to use, ability to create designs of mechanical parts using traditional and modern design tools.
PSO2: Understand, analyze and test conversion of thermal energy into mechanical work in different heat engines, understand, analyze and test energy conversion in systems like refrigerator and air conditioner, behaviour of fluid flow, energy conversion in hydraulic machines.
PSO3: Comprehensive understanding of foundry, forming, machining and joining processes in manufacturing using metals and plastics as raw materials, Ability to use foundry, forming, machining and joining tools to manufacture a metal product, understanding the working of modern and advanced machining and joining tools.
